As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and managing engineering projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure our products meet the highest standards and are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise will guide design changes, technical development, and troubleshooting, allowing you to make a tangible impact on our innovative product lines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead equipment design and development from initial concept through production phases.
- Coordinate technical developments, scheduling, and resolve engineering design challenges.
- Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawings.
- Collaborate across departments to meet budget and timeline goals.
- Oversee documentation and compliance with engineering standards.
- Engage with vendors, support factory employees, and interact with customers when necessary.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for start-up and troubleshooting.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in a mechanical engineering role, with proven expertise in machine design.
Education:
- A 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D design software, Microsoft Office Suite.
Project Management:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work independently and effectively with others, fostering a high sense of urgency in the engineering team.
